Repairing a Leaking Connection Behind the Sink

The problem was a leak at a brass plumbing fitting assembly behind the sink cabinet. The connection was positioned among the existing supply piping and other fixture connections, within a confined area at the back of the cabinet.

Repairing the leak required access to the affected fitting.

An opening in the cabinet's back wall exposed the plumbing assembly, including copper piping, brass fittings, a shutoff valve and the nearby drain outlet.
